As a busy and expanding workshop we rely heavily on electricity to power everything from our plasma cutting machines, to the lighting in the workshop, to the kettle in the canteen which make endless cups of tea for our workforce. Conscious of our carbon footprint and the rising costs of electricity, we have just finished the installation of a 33kWh solar panel system.

The new installation consists of 88 375w Longi Solar Panels installed on the roof of our workshop.

With this system generating up to 33kWh we can reduce our reliance on buying electricity from the grid and thus keep our prices competitive for our customers, whilst doing our little bit for the environment.

All we need is for the sun to shine!
